What is Aperture?: The size of the opening in the lens when a picture is taken.
How aperture works both technically (in camera) and visually (in photo)?: Aperture works in the camera allowing light in like window, and in the photo it allows a certain amount of light to control the picture and make it look better.
The relationship to the exposure triangle: To have a complete exposure triangle you need to have aperture. Without aperture the picture won't be under control and it won't look how it is supposed to.
